Introduced to the class early summer last year, I could sense I found my utopia. No matter the burn I felt during the workout itself and the soreness that hit me the next day, I knew that I’d want to stick to it. That could have been one of the best decisions I’d ever make.

Like all other new workouts, I found mat Pilates a little intimidating at first. There are a vast number of exercise names and equipment that comes with the conditioning. But keeping in touch with it throughout definitely brought out one of the fittest versions of me. With the constant toning of my body, I could tell that the results were unmistakably worth the pain. Over time I was able to improve my flexibility, my core strength, and my posture in general — three things I’ve wanted to improve on for a long time now.
