Robotics Classes For Kids
Introducing Robotics classes for kids!
The new buzzword of today’s modern and innovative world is Robotics, and GFX is proud to partner with STEMA Training and Development Center to bring Robotics classes for kids to GFX- Business Bay. Your kids will acquire skills to program different functional robots and develop a logical thinking mindset through output-based learning.
Robotics classes for kids use fun, hands-on projects to get your child’s creative juices flowing. Your child will learn how to build and program robots with LEGO® bricks and software — all while making friends, developing new skills, and having a great time with STEM.
Robotics – Young Engineers
Age Groups: 5-8 years old
Time: 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM (One Class a Week)
STEMA will introduce students to the robotics field by assembling and disassembling different colorful robots in each workshop. Students will add sensors and motors, program the robot behavior, and apply testing techniques to identify improvements using blocks-based programming. They will design and make different prototypes, such as Space Rover, Robotics car, spinner, crane, and much more.
Age Groups: 9+ years old
Time: 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM (One Class a Week)
STEMA will introduce students to robotics and programming to know several applied robotic mechanisms, manipulate objects, differentiate color, and utilize various sensor types (like Bumper switch, Color sensor, Touch sensor, and Distance sensor).
By undertaking the course, the students will assemble and disassemble mechanical products and apply design thinking techniques to solve real-life challenges.
